NOrthwest Herbal Resilience

Due to the impacts of COVID-19 pandemic and social unrest, the need to increase community care through use of accessible herbal medicine has become ever more crucial. Herbs support individuals emotionally, spiritually and physically. Sharing trauma-informed herbal knowledge is an important way for our community members to stay well during this time of disconnection from one another and from nature.

The Northwest Herbal Resilience project, provided 100, 3-month long herbal care kit subscriptions available to our community members who identify as low-income, disabled, Black, Indigenous and people of color at no-cost. The kits included a pamphlet describing each formula and included, safe and accessible plants easily found and grown in Pacific Northwest. Package kits were delivered or mailed to share community members demonstrating what it means to care for each other during times of need.
